The Hornet is our Largest two lens design using 80mm lenses to achieve a proprietary ‘Tab” wrap design.
Easy Change of Lenses – Lenses slide into frame through anchor system.
Extra Narrow DBL (Distance Between Lenses) – No visual interruption through the middle of the bridge area. The Hornet uses a 3mm nose bridge. This creates a completely invisible nose to the frame. Perfect for high house “2” and low “7”. You never loose track of the flight of the target.
Metal Design for maximum longevity
Integrated Sweat bar
The Hornet is a frame that weighs only 1 ounce.
Conventional – Twin Bridge (2 Silicone nose pads)
The Hornet system was developed for the most decorated Skeet Shooter in the world Todd Bender.
The Hornet uses a straight temple. This is different than our adjustable temple; there is no wrap around the ear. This provides superior comfort for all-day wear on the range or in the field. The frame uses a fixed nose that can be spread or narrowed by hand to fit a variety of nose shapes.
Features: Large Lens with a “Tab” wrap to help prevent wind, stay shot or clay shards from entering the eye region, Lens Anchor System for easy change of lenses (No tools are necessary to change lenses)
Prescription Lenses are full lenses with no insert.
A mild level of correction is acceptable for use in the Hornet. Optimally we will suggest a correct not more than + or – 2.00.
